One of Butler County’s Oldest Eateries

Serving our first hamburger in May of 1932, The Jug was originally located on South Main Street on the edge of Barnitz Field. In August 1948 we moved to the corner of Highview Road and Central Avenue where we remained for several years. When the service station was built on that corner The Jug moved to the next lot - 3610 Central Avenue, where we still remain.

Here at The Jug, we know what goes into our food. From our house ketchup and signature chili, to our mouth-watering burgers, we’re all about quality ingredients. Our patties are no exception. The exceptional Jug recipe has been handed down through the years so that the burger you eat today tastes like the first one you tried years ago.
